Privacy policy

Vitraria is a puzzle game for phones. You play it without an account: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number. This page explains what the game does collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Semih Güme, developer of Vitraria, Türkiye.

What we collect ourselves
To see which levels are too hard, where players stop, and whether the game works on different phones, the game sends the following to our own server:
- An anonymous installation ID. A random number created on your phone the first time the game opens. It is not your advertising ID and is not linked to your name or any account.
- Device details. Platform (Android or iOS), brand and model, operating system version, the version of the game and the language it is shown in.
- Play events. Opening the game, starting, finishing or leaving a level, how long a level took, how many times you got stuck and used undo, restart, a hint or an extra life, and whether an ad could be shown between levels. Each event carries its time.
Like any web server, ours also sees the IP address of each request and keeps it in its access log for a short time, to keep the service secure.
Your progress, settings and daily puzzle calendar are stored only on your phone.
What our partners collect
| Service | What for | What it may collect |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing ads | Advertising ID, IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), device details, which ads were shown and tapped |
| Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | Crash reports | Crash details, device model and state at the time of the crash, an installation ID created by Firebase |
| RevenueCat | The "Remove ads" purchase: showing the price, checking the purchase, restoring it on another phone | An anonymous ID created by RevenueCat, purchase history (product, date, price, the store's transaction ID), IP address, device model, operating system and game version, language and store country |
Google acts under its own policies: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.
The game connects to RevenueCat only when you open Settings (to show the price), and on start if you have bought or tried to buy. Payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store; your card details never reach us or RevenueCat. RevenueCat acts under its own policy: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
This website
This website (vitraria.app) is delivered through Cloudflare. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, the page you came from, browser, device type and country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other sites. The game does not use it. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Ads and your consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your choice before showing personalised ads. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data for personalised ads. In both cases you can make or change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in your phone's settings.
Why we use the data, and on what basis
- Improving the game and keeping it working (our own statistics, crash reports, website visit statistics): our legitimate interest in running and improving the game.
- Showing ads, which pay for the game: your consent where the law requires it, otherwise our legitimate interest.
- Providing the "Remove ads" purchase you bought (RevenueCat): performing our contract with you.
We do not sell your data for money and we do not use it to identify you. Under some US state laws, letting our ad partner personalise ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" data; you can opt out as described above.
How long we keep it
- Our own statistics: at most 24 months. Totals that no longer contain any ID (for example how many players finished a level) may be kept longer.
- Server access logs: at most 30 days.
- Crash reports: 90 days, as set by Firebase.
- Purchase records: with the store and RevenueCat, for as long as the purchase is valid and as long as the law requires.
Where it is kept
Our server is in Germany. Google, Cloudflare and RevenueCat may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own safeguards.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask what we hold about your installation, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. To do so, tap Settings → Contact us in the game: the email that opens already contains your anonymous installation ID (and your RevenueCat ID, if the game has connected to it), which is what lets us find your data. Send it as it is and tell us what you would like. We answer within 30 days.
Uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your phone. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
